Yes. Drawings are held under the supervision of the fiduciary organization, and the public may attend or view the livestream when applicable.
Prizes & Winners
Winners are notified by phone and email within 7 days after the official drawing.
CTRaffles will cover the Connecticut sales tax on vehicle prizes. Winners are responsible for registration, insurance, and any personal taxes, and anything else after the title of ownership is transferred
No. Prizes are awarded as described and cannot be substituted for cash unless otherwise stated.
Money & Transparency
All raffle proceeds are collected and managed by an independent fiduciary organization in compliance with Connecticut state law.
After the raffle concludes, the fiduciary approves operational expenses — such as prizes, advertising, and compliance costs — and then issues community grants from the remaining net proceeds to approved participating organizations.
Participating organizations become authorized agents through an approval process and are eligible to receive grants based on their verified participation, outreach, and program alignment.
All grants are issued directly by the fiduciary within 30 days after the official raffle close date.
No. CTRaffles operates under fiduciary oversight. Any approved service fees are paid directly by the fiduciary as part of the documented operational costs.

Yes. Winners are responsible for applicable federal and state taxes. The fiduciary may be required to report certain prizes to the IRS.

CT RAFFLES (Community Transparent Raffles) is a Connecticut-based fundraising platform that helps nonprofits and community organizations raise funds through transparent, county and state-compliant raffles. Each campaign is designed to inspire participation and support programs that strengthen families, expand educational opportunities, promote youth sports, enrich the arts, improve access to healthcare, and foster community development.
Participants must be Connecticut residents, 18 years of age or older, and eligible under Connecticut raffle regulations. Proof of residency and age may be required for winners.
Participants purchase raffle tickets online through our secure Zeffy platform. Once all tickets are sold—or the raffle period ends—an independent, digital drawing selects the winner. Every ticket has an equal chance to win.
The current raffle prize is a 2024 Buick Encore GX ST AWD in Sunrise Red Metallic, valued at approximately $30,000 USD.
After purchase, you’ll receive an email confirmation from Zeffy with your official ticket number(s). No physical tickets are mailed—everything is tracked digitally for transparency and convenience.
